Highlighting The Classic and Controversial

Audio visual specialists Integrated Circles have completed works for REWIND: 40 Years of Design and Advertising from the D&AD Awards, at the V&A Museum.

The annual British Design and Art Direction (D&AD) Awards began in 1963 and have become the industry “Oscars” for the design and advertising world.

REWIND is a celebration of award wining design and advertising works and the exhibition in the V&A’s new Contemporary Space runs until 2 February 2003.

With advertisements for products from cars to mashed potatoes and more controversial commercials such as David Bailey’s “Dumb Animals” for Greenpeace, this exhibition should have a very broad appeal.

This is the third project that Integrated Circles have worked on at the contemporary gallery since it opened in Spring 2002. Integrated Circles also provided audio visual equipment for “Milan in a Van” and “Cinema India: The Art of Bollywood”, both of which attracted thousands of visitors.

Project Manager, Paul Nolan, said: “We were delighted to work with such a highly visual exhibition. With advertisements on display that span almost four decades, there is something that will appeal to everyone and I am sure it will prove highly successful for both D&AD and the V&A.”
